Horizon Firearms Venatic DM Features The Horizon Firearms Venatic Dedicated Marksman is built around a Proof Research carbon fiber and stainless steel barrel finished in SOCOM Black chambered in .308 Win with a 1:10 twist rate suited to stabilizing a wide range of .308 bullet weights. The carbon fiber wrap sheds significant weight versus a traditional steel barrel while still dissipating heat effectively during strings of precision fire. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle fitted with an Iota Sim Brake tames recoil and muzzle rise keeping the shooter s sight picture on target between shots. The SOCOM Black receiver carries a Picatinny rail for direct optic mounting and the two-position safety offers fast reliable manipulation under time pressure. The folding magnesium XLR Element 4.0 chassis finished in OD Green Cerakote collapses the rifle s overall footprint for easier transport on long treks or tactical outings without compromising the chassis s rigidity when deployed. An integrated ARCA rail lets the rifle mount directly to ARCA-compatible bipods and tripods for stable positional shooting while AICS-pattern magazines feed a 5-round capacity and allow fast reloads from common aftermarket magazines. At just 6.1 lbs and 38 overall the rifle stays remarkably portable for a precision chassis build. This Venatic Dedicated Marksman is available for sale at GrabAGun for right-handed marksmen and hunters who need serious long-range capability in a lightweight packable package.
