Heritage Firearms Rough Rider Small Bore Features The Heritage Firearms Rough Rider Small Bore is built on a zinc alloy frame paired with an alloy steel barrel and cylinder giving the revolver the classic weight and balance of a traditional single action sixgun in an accessible 22 LR package. The single action only trigger and exposed hammer require manual cocking before each shot a deliberate design that rewards careful controlled shooting and echoes the operation of vintage cowboy era revolvers. A 1:14 twist rate stabilizes 22 LR projectiles through the 6.5 barrel while fixed front and notched rear sights keep the sight picture simple and durable for years of range use. The manual thumb and hammer safety work together to keep the revolver secure during handling and storage. Finished entirely in black across the frame barrel and cylinder the Rough Rider Small Bore presents a uniform no-nonsense look that contrasts sharply with its standout ivory style grips featuring a red and blue Uncle Sam design. At 33.4 ounces and an 11.78 overall length the revolver is light enough to carry comfortably for an afternoon at the range while still offering the substantial feel shooters expect from a single action design. The 6-round cylinder keeps reloads infrequent during casual plinking sessions and the Special Edition grip treatment sets this Rough Rider apart from its standard counterparts. For shooters who want an affordable rimfire revolver with genuine single action character and distinctive styling the Heritage Firearms Rough Rider Small Bore is available for sale at GrabAGun.
