Heritage Firearms Rough Rider Steel Features The Heritage Rough Rider Steel introduces .32 H&R Magnum to the Rough Rider platform for the first time giving shooters increased power and versatility over the traditional .22 LR and .22 WMR chamberings the line is known for. Built with a steel frame steel cylinder and a 6.5 inch alloy steel barrel carrying a 1:14 inch twist rate the revolver is constructed for durability under repeated centerfire use. A single action only trigger mechanism keeps the shooting experience authentic to the original Western style revolvers that inspired the Rough Rider design. Fixed sights a notched rear paired with a front blade offer a simple rugged sighting system suited to range plinking pest control and small game hunting. Finished in black satin across the barrel frame and cylinder the Rough Rider Steel presents a cohesive classic look that pays homage to frontier era revolvers. At 11.78 inches overall and 2.09 pounds the revolver has enough heft to manage recoil from the more powerful .32 H&R Magnum cartridge while remaining comfortable to carry and shoot. A 6 round capacity and a manual safety round out a build focused on dependable straightforward single action operation.
