Federal Terminal Ascent Features Federal s Terminal Ascent bullet pairs a bonded lead core with a patented Slipstream polymer tip that initiates expansion at velocities roughly 200 fps lower than comparable designs extending reliable performance out to longer ranges and lower impact speeds. The bonded construction holds the jacket and core together on close high velocity hits fueling deep penetration rather than premature breakup. A long sleek profile gives this 155 grain .284 bullet an extremely high ballistic coefficient helping it buck wind and retain energy at distance. The result is a single projectile that handloaders can rely on across a wide spread of practical hunting ranges. AccuChannel groove technology cut into the bearing surface reduces drag and improves accuracy by minimizing the bullet s contact area with the bore. Federal offers Terminal Ascent component bullets across a full selection of weights and diameters letting reloaders build loads for the most popular long-range hunting cartridges. This 7mm 155 grain bullet ships 50 to a box as a component only with no primer case or powder included. For handloaders chasing deep penetration and consistent long-range expansion the Federal Terminal Ascent bullet is a dependable building block for sale at GrabAGun.
