Faxon Firearms Win Creedmoor Full Auto Bolt Carrier Features The Faxon Firearms Win Creedmoor Full Auto Bolt Carrier is machined from 9310 tool steel a material chosen for its strength and its ability to hold up under the stress of repeated cycling. The assembly is then nitrided a process that increases surface hardness while decreasing resistance in the action which keeps the bolt cycling smoothly over long strings of fire. Compared to typical chrome and phosphated bolt carrier groups the Black Nitride finish offers superior corrosion resistance helping the part hold up in humid or harsh environments. Every bolt is fully MPI tested meaning the material is checked for soundness and verified free of defects before it ships. Faxon chamfers the bolt lugs to a 45 degree angle a detail that ensures reliable lockup and extraction even when running the highest pressure hand loads through fast lightweight actions. The extractor is built from S7 tool steel and sprung using a spring o-ring and silicone insert combination giving consistent extraction force shot after shot. This combination of premium steel precise machining and a durable Black Nitride finish makes the carrier suitable for both .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor builds. The Faxon Firearms Win Creedmoor Full Auto Bolt Carrier gives builders and shooters a dependable high pressure capable upgrade for demanding .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor rifles.
