Dead Air Armament RXD Xeno P-Series Birdcage Flash Hider Features The Dead Air Armament RXD Xeno P-Series Birdcage Flash Hider combines the proven design of the Ruger Bird Cage flash hider with Dead Air s Xeno mounting technology giving shooters effective flash reduction and enhanced focus on target during low-light firing. The Xeno taper mounting system ensures a secure lock-up and exceptional repeatability so the device returns to the same zero every time it is removed and reinstalled. The mounting design ensures accuracy precision and dependable performance even during hard firing conditions which matters when the device is doing double duty as a suppressor mount. Because it is compatible with all Xeno Adapter equipped silencers it extends the usefulness of any Dead Air can already in the safe. Built in 10mm bore with a 5/8x24 thread pitch the flash hider is constructed from 17-4 stainless steel for long-term durability against heat and powder fouling. The black nitride finish resists corrosion and wear while keeping a low-visibility tactical appearance on the muzzle. RXD Xeno flash hiders are available in multiple long configurations for rifles and short configurations for pistol caliber carbines giving shooters flexibility across different host platforms. Before mounting shooters should always confirm that the bore size of their host firearm s caliber does not exceed the bore size of both the muzzle device and the suppressor it will support.
