Dead Air Armament Xemax Features The Dead Air Armament Xemax muzzle brake is machined for .45 caliber firearms and cut with an 11/16x24 thread pitch matching the mounting standard Dead Air uses across much of its suppressor lineup. That thread compatibility means the Xemax can serve as a standalone brake today and still align with future Dead Air suppressor mounts down the line. Dead Air brings the same materials expertise and manufacturing precision from its suppressor business to this muzzle device aiming to control recoil impulse and muzzle rise on harder recoiling .45 caliber platforms. Reducing muzzle flip helps shooters stay on target longer during rapid strings of fire. A black nitride finish coats the Xemax providing a durable corrosion-resistant surface that holds up to repeated firing and field exposure. That finish also gives the brake a low-visibility black appearance that matches most modern firearm finishes without standing out. Dead Air designed the Xemax using the same engineering discipline it applies to its suppressor products resulting in a muzzle device built to tight tolerances for consistent repeatable performance. For .45 caliber shooters who want proven recoil control and a brake that lines up with Dead Air s broader suppressor mounting system the Xemax is a straightforward well-built option.
