Browning BAR MK4 Hunter Features The Browning BAR MK4 Hunter runs on a gas-operated action with a robust rotating bolt that locks securely into the barrel giving reliable cycling across a range of .308 Win loads. The durable action bar and inertia block connection minimizes barrel vibration during firing a design feature that directly improves accuracy shot after shot. A fluted 22 barrel trims weight without sacrificing the stiffness needed for consistent groups and the matte blued finish controls glare in the field. This left-hand model gives southpaw hunters the same fast target acquisition and natural handling that right-handed shooters have long enjoyed from the BAR line. The Grade II Turkish walnut stock is shim adjustable for cast on and off and drop at comb letting the rifle be tailored to the shooter s build for a more natural repeatable cheek weld. This level of fit is uncommon on a semi-auto hunting rifle and reflects Browning s attention to ergonomics on the BAR platform. The detachable box magazine holds four rounds plus one in the chamber giving a useful reserve for follow-up shots on moving game. At 7.38 pounds this BAR MK4 Hunter balances well for quick handling in timber or open country making it a dependable choice for sale at GrabAGun.
