Browning BAR MK4 Medallion Americana Features The Browning BAR MK4 Medallion Americana runs on a gas piston operating system with a seven-lug rotating bolt that locks securely into the barrel delivering the smooth cycling BAR rifles are known for. A strong action bar and inertia block link-up reduces barrel vibration directly improving practical accuracy on game at distance. The fluted polished blued barrel reduces weight while maintaining the stiffness needed for consistent shot placement. An integral buffering system reduces wear and stress on the rifle s operating system extending its service life across years of use. The nickel finish receiver carries high-relief enhanced coverage engraving featuring a waving American flag along with gold enhanced 250 Years of Freedom text making this a genuinely commemorative rifle. The oil finish Grade III Turkish walnut stock is cut checkered and shim adjustable for cast on and off and drop at comb letting the rifle be fit to the individual shooter. An Inflex recoil pad reduces felt recoil from the .243 Win cartridge keeping the rifle comfortable across a day of hunting or shooting.
