Breek Arms Sledgehammer Charging Handle Features The Breek Arms Sledgehammer is machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum giving the charging handle rugged durability well beyond a standard mil-spec part. Wide serrated latches provide a secure snag-free grip for fast manipulation whether running the gun normally or clearing a malfunction under stress. The handle includes more gas-reducing features than typical charging handles on the market including a raised rear shelf a keyway cutout and internal baffling inside the stem that slows gas expansion before it reaches the shooter. A back pressure port along with aggressive top and bottom relief cuts further directs gas away from the face which matters most when shooting suppressed. Finished in Flat Dark Earth with a Type III hard-coat anodized coating the Sledgehammer offers a durable corrosion-resistant exterior that matches popular FDE builds. At 2.59 inches wide and just 1.1 ounces the handle adds a confident grip surface without unnecessary bulk or weight. It is built to install on all Mil Spec AR15 and M16 pattern rifles with no gunsmithing required dropping in as a direct upgrade over the factory part. For shooters running a suppressor or simply wanting reduced gas blowback the Breek Arms Sledgehammer is a practical made-in-America upgrade.
