Breek Arms Sledgehammer Charging Handle Features The Breek Arms Sledgehammer Charging Handle is machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum to withstand the rigors of hard use on an AR-10/LR-308 platform. Its serrated latches are built with a wider footprint than typical charging handles giving shooters a more positive snag-free grab even when wearing gloves or operating under stress. This design is particularly valuable for rifles run with a suppressor where fast and reliable charging matters more and standard handles can be harder to manipulate. A Type 3 hard anodized finish in OD Green protects the aluminum from wear and corrosion while giving the handle a distinct rugged appearance. Industry-leading gas-reduction ports are engineered into the handle to divert gases away from the shooter s face directly addressing the increased blowback that suppressed .308 rifles often produce. At just 1.4 oz and 2.59 wide the handle adds minimal weight while improving ergonomics over a stock charging handle. This combination of gas management and a robust latch design makes the Sledgehammer especially suited to shooters running suppressors on gas-impingement .308 builds. For AR-10/LR-308 owners looking to improve reliability and comfort at an approachable price the Breek Arms Sledgehammer Charging Handle delivers a focused performance-driven upgrade.
