XS Sights Standard Dot Front Features The XS Sights Standard Dot Front Sight combines a tritium powered insert with a photoluminescent glow ring giving the shooter a sight that performs well across both daylight and true low-light conditions. During the day the photoluminescent ring absorbs ambient light then releases that stored light as a visible glow once conditions darken bridging the gap before full darkness sets in. Once true low-light or no-light conditions arrive the self-powered tritium vial takes over requiring no battery or charging and remaining active for years of service. This combination addresses one of the most common complaints with pure tritium sights which can be difficult to pick up quickly in twilight or indoor lighting before full darkness. Machined from durable steel with a black oxide frame finish this front sight is factory drilled for a roll pin simplifying installation for a gunsmith or experienced shooter working on a Taurus 605 or 856 revolver. The high-contrast green front sight color was chosen specifically to stand out clearly against a wide range of backgrounds speeding up target acquisition under stress. CNC machining ensures a consistent precise fit for each unit reducing the chance of an ill-fitting sight that requires additional gunsmithing to install correctly. For Taurus 605 and 856 revolver owners who carry for personal defense and want a dependable low-light sighting solution this XS Sights front sight is a direct purpose-built upgrade.
