XS Sights Standard Dot Sight Features The XS Sights Standard Dot Sight brings back the classic hard use front sight concept that predates fiber optic light pipes photoluminescent paint and tritium inserts. A hand-polished convex brass bead measuring 0.140 inches reflects more ambient light than a flat-faced sight which means a brighter and more visible sight picture whether shooting at the range or in the field. Brass was the original high visibility front sight material because it is tough durable and easy to see in most lighting conditions without any power source. Precision CNC machining of both the sight body and the brass bead ensures a precise fit on the Colt Cobra and King Cobra revolvers it is designed for giving shooters a sight that performs the same way every time it is drawn. The brass bead itself is finished using Flitz polishing products which leaves behind a light protective layer that helps minimize oxidization and keeps the bead bright through regular use. Because this sight has no batteries or tritium lamps that can fade or die out over time it offers a genuinely maintenance-free option for shooters who want reliability without periodic replacement costs. The kit ships complete with the front sight blue threadlocker a hex wrench for the front sight set screw and an insert with instructions making for an easy do-it-yourself installation. Durable CNC machined steel construction throughout means the XS Sights Standard Dot Sight for Colt Cobra/King Cobra is built to hold up to the rigors of daily carry and range use for years to come.
