Viridian RFX45 Features The Viridian RFX45 uses a closed emitter design meaning the shooter looks through a tunnel to the reticle rather than relying on an open reflex window which provides faster aiming point acquisition and better protection from debris. The 5 MOA green dot reticle stands out clearly against most backgrounds and daylight conditions while the fully multi-coated lens system delivers a distortion free high clarity sight picture. INSTANT-ON technology wakes the sight automatically the moment it senses movement so there is no manual power-on step before taking a shot. An auto sleep function shuts the unit down after two minutes of inactivity helping stretch the roughly 50 000 hour battery life even further. Machined from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum the RFX45 housing is both lightweight and rugged built to survive the recoil and handling of daily use. It carries 10 brightness settings including 8 visible and 2 night vision compatible levels giving the shooter control across a wide range of lighting conditions. The sight uses the ACRO footprint for mounting and ships with a low Picatinny mount giving it compatibility with ACRO-pattern pistol slides as well as Picatinny rail equipped rifles. Rated IPX6 for water resistance and tested across a wide operating temperature range the RFX45 is built to perform in demanding field and duty environments.
