Simmons ProHunter Features The Simmons ProHunter is built around an all glass optical system with fully coated lenses that transmit more usable light to the eye producing noticeably brighter images in low light hunting conditions like early morning or last light. A rugged one piece aluminum main tube measuring 1 inch in diameter houses the internals and is sealed to an IPX7 waterproof rating meaning the scope resists fogging and moisture intrusion even in wet humid environments. The scope carries a shockproof construction designed to withstand repeated recoil from hard kicking rifle calibers without losing zero. An aggressive textured magnification ring makes power changes fast and tactile even while wearing gloves in cold weather. The Simmons Truplex reticle sits on the second focal plane keeping its apparent size consistent regardless of the magnification setting between 3x and 9x which many hunters find easier to use for quick shots. Capped finger adjustable windage and elevation turrets allow precise 1/4 MOA adjustments while protecting the internal mechanism from accidental movement in the field. With a 50mm objective lens the scope gathers ample light for its magnification range supporting clear images well into dim conditions. The package arrives complete with 1 inch aluminum four hole weaver style rings and bikini style lens covers giving hunters everything needed to mount the scope straight out of the box.
