Simmons ProTarget Features The Simmons ProTarget delivers 3-9x magnification through a 40mm objective lens giving shooters enough reach for mid-range target work while keeping the scope compact and lightweight at 16.9 ounces. Its second focal plane Mil-Dot reticle maintains a constant size across the magnification range so the dots only match their rated subtension at the top end of zoom which is the standard behavior shooters expect from an SFP design. Exposed target turrets adjust in 0.1 MIL increments a fine enough click value for precise elevation and windage corrections at the range. The 30mm main tube provides a wider range of internal adjustment than a standard 1 inch tube giving shooters more room to dial for distance before running out of travel. Built on a 30mm aluminum tube the ProTarget is finished in a matte black coating that minimizes glare and keeps the scope s profile low-key on the rifle. Rated IPX7 for water resistance the scope is sealed against moisture intrusion during wet range days or unexpected weather in the field. An eye relief range of 85 to 100mm gives shooters flexibility in mounting position on the rifle without crowding the eye during recoil. At just over 12 inches in overall length and under a pound in weight the Simmons ProTarget is a practical choice for target shooters who want precise repeatable adjustments without the cost of a premium optic available for sale at GrabAGun.
