Simmons ProTarget Features The Simmons ProTarget delivers 4 to 12 power magnification through a 40mm objective lens giving shooters flexibility across a range of target distances from close cover to open fields. Its all-glass optical system and fully coated lenses work together to produce crisp clear images even as lighting conditions shift toward dusk or dawn. The Mil Dot reticle sits on the second focal plane keeping its subtensions accurate at a specified magnification setting while the sight picture stays uncluttered at lower powers for faster target acquisition. IPX7 waterproof fog proof and shockproof construction ensures the scope holds zero and stays clear through rough handling wet weather and the recoil of repeated shots in the field. A 30mm one-piece aluminum main tube provides a strong foundation for the scope s internal adjustment range and overall durability under hard use. Exposed adjustable target turrets with 0.1 MIL click values let shooters dial precise corrections for windage and elevation directly at the turret rather than relying on holdover alone which suits shooters who prefer dialing their dope over guessing at distance. A textured magnification power change ring makes adjusting zoom fast and positive even while wearing gloves or working quickly between shots. The one-piece main tube construction also simplifies mounting giving a consistent surface for rings without the alignment concerns of a multi-piece tube. This Simmons ProTarget 4-12x40mm scope ships with lens covers included to protect the glass during transport and storage rounding out a complete ready-to-mount optic that is available for sale at GrabAGun.
