RS Regulate Modular Upper Features The RS Regulate Modular Upper is purpose-built as a mini Picatinny mount for small footprint Picatinny mounted optics giving AK owners a precise stable mounting surface not typically available on stock AK receivers. At just 0.92 ounces and measuring 1.92 by 1.12 by 1.74 inches the upper adds minimal bulk while providing a solid mounting point for a compact red dot. A matte black finish keeps the upper from reflecting light and matches most AK furniture and finishes. This upper is part of a larger modular system meaning it is designed to pair with one of several lowers depending on the specific AK pattern rifle. Since rolling out the first AK-300 Modular Side Mount System models in 2012 RS Regulate has expanded the lineup to six fully modular uppers and nine different lowers covering most Eastern European and Yugoslavian AK side rails Romanian PSL and M10/RH10 rifles Century Arms proprietary side rails and even Czech vz. 58 rifles. This modularity means an AK owner can mix and match the correct lower for their specific rifle with this upper to achieve a secure reliable optics mount. Because the system has been refined since 2012 it reflects years of fitment data across a wide range of AK variants. AK owners seeking a dependable optics mounting solution without resorting to a dust cover mount will find this RS Regulate upper a proven choice.
