RS Regulate Rear Biased Lower Features The RS Regulate Rear Biased Lower clamps onto the factory AKM side rail using a secure clamp-on attachment giving the rifle a stable Picatinny rail mounting point without requiring any gunsmithing or permanent modification. Because the mount is rear biased it positions an optic closer to the shooter which helps with eye relief and cheek weld on AKM pattern rifles whose stocks were never designed around modern red dots or scopes. The matte Black aluminum construction resists wear from repeated mounting and dismounting while standing up to field conditions. A single Picatinny base accepts the broad range of rings mounts and optics already built around that industry-standard interface. This lower is part of RS Regulate s larger AK-300 Modular Side Mount System introduced in 2012 and now spanning six uppers and nine lowers to cover the full range of AKM Yugo Romanian and Czech vz. 58 side rail patterns. Riflemen running Saiga WASR SGL SLR or KVAR-pattern rifles can select the lower that matches their specific receiver and pair it with the modular upper of their choice. The mount is explicitly not compatible with rifles using a factory folding stock so shooters with fixed stock AKM rifles get the most straightforward fit. The RS Regulate Rear Biased Lower is for sale at GrabAGun for AKM owners building out a dependable optics-ready platform.
