RS Regulate Modular Upper Features The RS Regulate Modular Upper is machined to accept Trijicon MRO pattern optics giving AK shooters a mounting solution built specifically around this widely used red dot footprint. Its matte black finish is designed to blend with the rest of a typical AK s furniture and metal finish avoiding a mismatched appearance on the rifle. As part of RS Regulate s modular side mount system first introduced in 2012 this upper is engineered to pair with one of nine different lowers covering most Eastern European Yugo Romanian and even Czech vz. 58 side rail patterns. This modularity means a single upper can be adapted across a shooter s entire AK collection just by swapping the corresponding lower. Because the mount attaches to the side rail rather than requiring permanent modification to the receiver installation preserves the rifle s original configuration while still providing a stable optic mounting platform. RS Regulate has continued to refine this system since its debut aiming for consistent return to zero performance even after the optic is removed and reinstalled. This makes the mount well suited to shooters who need to transport or store their rifle with the optic detached. The RS Regulate Modular Upper for Trijicon MRO is a proven mounting option for AK owners wanting reliable repeatable red dot performance.
