Ravin Crossbows R8 Features The Ravin R8 generates 420 feet per second of arrow speed and 156 foot pounds of kinetic energy numbers that put it firmly in capable big game hunting territory. Helicoil Technology and a composite quad limb design work together to deliver that speed while keeping the crossbow s axle to axle width to just 6.5 inches cocked and 10.5 inches uncocked a compact profile that helps in tight hunting blinds and tree stands. The Trac-Trigger firing system and an anti dry fire mechanism with auto safety add both performance and built in safeguards against accidental discharge. An aluminum CNC riser anchors the whole system for consistent accuracy shot after shot. At 7.55 pounds and 32.5 inches long the R8 balances power with a manageable size for carrying through the field all day. The crossbow ships fully assembled and pre-tuned along with a 3x32mm illuminated scope featuring 20 to 100 yard reticles in red or green illumination that is fog shock recoil and waterproof rated. Three Ravin .003 arrows with field points a removable draw handle and a quiver with mounting bracket round out the included package. The Ravin R8 gives hunters a complete ready to hunt crossbow setup without needing to source additional accessories.
