Ravin Crossbows R8 XK7 Features The Ravin R8 XK7 delivers blistering arrow speeds up to 420 feet per second and 156 foot pounds of kinetic energy performance figures that place it among the fastest crossbows built for serious hunters. Its HeliCoil Technology works with a quad limb composite design to store and deliver that energy efficiently while the Versa-Draw cocking system reduces draw force to just 12 pounds dramatically lowering the physical effort needed to cock the bow compared to traditional crank or rope systems. The Trac-Trigger firing system and Frictionless Flight system work together to improve accuracy and consistency shot after shot both critical when a single well placed arrow matters most in the field. At 32.5 inches long with an axle to axle width of 6.5 inches cocked and 10.5 inches uncocked the R8 stays compact and maneuverable in tight hunting situations. The R8 ships fully assembled and pre tuned meaning hunters can take it out of the box and head to the range or field without additional setup work. Included in the package is a 3x32mm illuminated fixed power crossbow scope with 20 to 100 yard reticles and red or green illumination options suited for low light hunting conditions and built to resist fog shock recoil and water. Three Ravin .003 arrows with field points totaling 400 grains come included along with a removable draw handle and a quiver and mounting bracket for immediate use. An ambidextrous soft touch nylon fiber stock at 7.55 pounds total weight a built in cocking mechanism anti dry fire protection and built in sling mounts round out a crossbow designed to perform the moment it matters most.
