Ravin Crossbows String and Cable Set Features The Ravin Crossbows String and Cable Set is engineered to the exact specifications of the R18 crossbow so fit and function match the factory originals rather than a generic aftermarket substitute. Over time strings and cables stretch and fray from repeated cycling which can throw off arrow timing and reduce accuracy so a scheduled replacement keeps the bow shooting the way it did on day one. Ravin s own recommendation of every two years or 200 shots gives owners a clear maintenance interval to plan around rather than guessing when service is due. Using the correct Ravin Press for installation rather than a generic crossbow press is essential to avoid damaging the R18 s specific cam and limb system. Finished in Black to match the R18 s factory appearance this set keeps the bow looking as good as it shoots after service. Because it is built for the R18 only hunters and target shooters can be confident the replacement parts will not introduce timing issues that a universal set might. Keeping strings and cables fresh is a simple way to protect the investment in a premium hunting crossbow and avoid missed shots from degraded components in the field. The Ravin String and Cable Set is a straightforward maintenance part for sale at GrabAGun.
