Ravin Crossbows Tatanka Features The Ravin Crossbows Tatanka is built around a 26 pound draw weight light enough for a young or smaller framed archer to draw comfortably and repeatedly without strain. That lighter draw lets new shooters focus on proper form and release technique rather than fighting a bow that is too heavy for their strength. At 60 inches in length the Tatanka is sized to suit youth archers while still offering a stable accurate shooting platform. Its ambidextrous design means the same bow works for both right and left handed shooters which is useful for families or programs introducing multiple kids to the sport. The bow ships complete with a nock point arrow rest and bow string already included so there is no need to source extra parts before heading to the range. This ready to shoot setup makes it easy for a parent coach or mentor to get a young archer started quickly and safely. Because it is intended for a youth or beginner user the Tatanka works well as an introductory bow for backyard practice archery programs or building fundamentals before moving to a higher draw weight. For families looking for a straightforward way to introduce archery to a smaller shooter this recurve bow offers a simple capable starting point.
