Mdt Sporting Goods Inc Oryx Sportsman Chassis Features The MDT Oryx Sportsman Chassis is built around a full-length 6061-T6 aluminum backbone CNC-machined to give shooters a rigid consistent foundation that resists the warping and flex common with traditional wood or polymer stocks. Its metal-on-metal bedding interface locks the action in securely eliminating the need for glass bedding while maintaining repeatable zero under recoil and changing weather. The full-length free-floated barrel channel supports any Remington 700 compatible barrel contour preserving barrel harmonics for improved precision consistency. An integrated M-LOK forend gives shooters rock-solid mounting points for bipods sling studs or weights without disturbing point of impact. Ergonomics on the Oryx are built to keep shooters comfortable and in control from prone position to barricade use. A tool-less adjustable cheek riser allows quick height adjustments for perfect optic alignment while included spacers customize length of pull for different gear setups or shooter sizes. Vertical pistol grip geometry promotes a natural wrist angle that reduces fatigue over long sessions and overmolded gripping zones provide non-slip texture in wet or cold field conditions. Built specifically for the Remington 700 long action in a right-hand configuration this Gray Oryx Sportsman Chassis delivers drop-in fitment and AICS magazine compatibility for a true precision rifle upgrade.
