Leupold QRW Cross-Slot Base Set Features The Leupold QRW Cross-Slot Base Set is machined from steel rather than aluminum giving the Nosler M21 a mounting platform that stands up to the recoil of standard and magnum cartridges alike. The cross slot pattern works with Weaver style rings as well as Picatinny compatible rings so shooters are not locked into one ring manufacturer when building out their rifle. Each base uses Torx drive screws and a Torx wrench is included so the set can be installed without hunting for a separate tool. Sold in a matching pair the two piece design follows the factory contour of the Nosler M21 receiver for a precise repeatable fit. A matte black powder coated finish resists wear and matches most factory rifle finishes without drawing attention to the mount itself. Pairing this base set with Leupold QRW or PRW rings or Burris Signature rings rounds out a mounting system built for shooters who demand that their scope return to zero after repeated removal and reinstallation. Leupold builds every mounting system to the same standard of ruggedness as the optics it is designed to carry reflecting decades of experience linking rifle to scope. For the Nosler M21 owner upgrading from a factory aluminum base this steel cross slot set is a durable American made solution.
