Keystone Crickett Features The Keystone Sporting Arms Crickett uses a simple single shot bolt action that is easy for new shooters to understand and operate safely since there is no magazine to manage and every round must be deliberately loaded and chambered by hand. Its 16.125 inch stainless steel barrel with a 1 in 16 twist rate is sized specifically for the smaller stature of youth shooters while still delivering consistent accuracy at typical training distances. Open rifle sights give beginners a straightforward sight picture without the complexity of an optic to learn at the same time keeping the focus on stance grip and trigger control. A 2-position crossbolt safety adds an extra layer of safety instruction for new shooters and their supervising adults reinforcing the habit of checking and confirming the rifle s condition before every shot. The gray synthetic stock resists moisture and rough handling far better than a traditional wood stock making it ideal for young shooters still developing careful gun handling habits in all kinds of weather and range conditions. At just 2 lbs 8 oz the Crickett is light enough for a small shooter to hold and aim comfortably during a full lesson without fatigue setting in. The compact 30 inch overall length keeps the rifle proportional to a youth shooter s frame so the stock trigger reach and balance all feel right in smaller hands. The stainless steel barrel and action pair with the synthetic stock to shrug off the dings and moisture exposure that come with a first rifle passed between eager young hands. This Keystone Sporting Arms Crickett is a trusted first rifle for sale at GrabAGun for introducing young shooters to safe responsible marksmanship and its simple rugged design makes it just as suited to being handed down to the next sibling as it is to the first day at the range.
