Keystone Crickett Features The Keystone Sporting Arms Crickett is a single shot bolt action rifle chambered in .22 LR purpose built as a first rifle for young or new shooters. Its 16.25 barrel and 1-in-16 twist rate keep the rifle compact and properly scaled for smaller hands and shorter arms so a young shooter can mount aim and cycle the bolt without fighting the size of the gun. A rebounding firing pin is automatically blocked between shots helping prevent accidental discharge and adding peace of mind for parents and instructors supervising range time. The rifle s overall length of 30 inches and weight under 3 lbs make it easy for a young shooter to safely handle and carry whether walking to a shooting bench or slinging it over a shoulder in the field. The single shot bolt action also encourages deliberate one-round-at-a-time shooting a natural fit for teaching fundamentals like sight alignment trigger control and safe muzzle discipline from the very first outing. This Crickett is finished in a vivid Muddy Girl camouflage pattern over a blued barreled action giving it a fun distinctive look that appeals to young shooters and helps build excitement around learning to shoot. A 2-position crossbolt safety adds a simple easy-to-understand safety mechanism appropriate for a beginner s rifle letting new shooters learn a clear on-and-off safety habit early. The package includes a scope and mounting base already fitted along with a carrying case giving new shooters everything needed to get started right out of the box without piecing together optics or storage separately. The blued barreled action underneath the camo finish is straightforward to clean and maintain an important consideration for a rifle a young shooter will be handling and caring for themselves as they learn responsible firearm ownership. Parents and instructors looking for a complete ready-to-shoot youth rifle package will find the Keystone Crickett Muddy Girl for sale at GrabAGun well suited to a first hunt a youth shooting program or simply a fun day of supervised plinking.
