Iver Johnson 1911 Magazine Features The Iver Johnson 1911 Magazine is manufactured by Metalform a name with a long history of producing quality 1911 magazines to correct dimensional tolerances. Built from stainless steel it resists corrosion far better than a standard blued magazine an important consideration for a magazine that may be carried daily against skin or clothing. Its 8-round capacity is specifically sized for Officer-size 1911 pistols matching the shorter magazine well found on these compact frames. The bright silver stainless finish also gives a visual and tactile way to quickly identify this magazine among a mixed set of 1911 magazines. Because it is built to Officer-size specifications this magazine also fits Thrasher-pattern 1911 pistols that share the same compact grip and magazine well dimensions. Metalform s manufacturing standards give the magazine consistent reliable feeding performance in 9mm an increasingly popular chambering for compact 1911 carry pistols. Owners of Officer-size 1911s looking for a durable spare or replacement magazine benefit from this stainless construction holding up to the rigors of daily carry. This magazine is a dependable factory-correct choice for compact 1911 shooters running 9mm.
