Iver Johnson 1911 Magazine Features The Iver Johnson 1911 Magazine is machined from stainless steel and finished in a bright silver that matches the classic look of a stainless 1911 slide. Built to standard 1911 dimensions it drops into Government and full-size 1911 frames chambered in .38 Super without modification. The stainless construction resists rust and wear far better than a blued or coated magazine subjected to repeated carry and holster friction. A 9-round capacity keeps the magazine compact while still offering a useful reserve over a bare 8-round tube. Stainless steel construction means this magazine tolerates rough handling range grime and long-term storage better than many factory options. It is sized to the exact packaging dimensions of a standard 1911 magazine so it fits existing mag pouches and carriers without issue. Shooters replacing a worn or damaged factory magazine or simply adding a dependable spare get a drop-in solution with no fitting required. The Iver Johnson name backs a simple functional part built to keep a .38 Super 1911 running reliably.
