Iver Johnson Magazine for 1911 Officer/Compact Features The Iver Johnson magazine is built specifically for Officer and Compact style single-stack 1911 pistols in 9mm matching the shorter grip frame s feed geometry for reliable function. The carbon steel tube is heat-treated for strength giving it the durability to withstand repeated loading firing and drops without deforming. A higher tensile music wire spring maintains consistent feed pressure across the full 8-round capacity helping avoid the feeding failures that can come from a weak or fatigued spring. A steel follower rounds out the internals adding another layer of reliability to the feeding cycle. Finished in black the magazine matches most factory 1911 finishes for a clean uniform look when carried or displayed on the range. A welded butt-plate strengthens the base of the magazine helping it survive repeated drops during reloads or training drills. Because it is purpose-built for the Officer and Compact 1911 platform shooters get a magazine that fits flush and functions correctly without the compatibility guesswork of adapting a full-size 1911 magazine. This Iver Johnson 9mm magazine is a solid dependable spare for Officer and Compact 1911 owners for sale at GrabAGun.
