Hornady Unprimed Cases Features The Hornady .338 ARC unprimed cases are produced in smaller lots with extra time and care taken to meet strict quality standards throughout manufacturing. Hornady measures each case for consistently tight wall concentricity and uniform wall thickness helping ensure repeatable performance from case to case. A pressure calibration test is run on every batch to verify uniform case expansion during firing a step that contributes directly to safer more predictable reloading. This level of quality control gives handloaders a dependable foundation for building their own precision ammunition. Proper seating of the bullet both in the case and in the chamber is a direct result of Hornady s consistent case dimensions and wall thickness. That consistency translates to more uniform charges and pressures from round to round which in turn produces optimal velocity and repeatable accuracy downrange. This is new unprimed brass only not loaded ammunition intended strictly for use in the reloading process. These 50 cases per box are a solid choice for .338 ARC shooters who want to build their own high quality ammunition from trusted components.
