Hornady Unprimed Cases Features Hornady s Unprimed Cases in 7x57mm Mauser are produced in smaller lots so that extra time and care can go into meeting strict quality standards. Each case is measured for tight wall concentricity and run through a pressure calibration test to confirm uniform expansion during firing. That attention to consistency means less variation from case to case which reloaders rely on when developing accurate repeatable loads. Uniform wall thickness also supports getting more reloads out of each case before it needs to be retired. Consistent weight and internal capacity across the brass help reloaders maintain even powder charges and pressures load after load. Hornady s cases are built to allow proper bullet seating both within the case neck and once chambered in the rifle reducing a common source of runout and inconsistency. These are unprimed component rifle cases intended strictly for handloading and require primers powder and bullets to become finished ammunition. Reloaders building 7x57mm Mauser loads for hunting or target work will find this Hornady brass a dependable base for the rest of their reloading process.
