Hornady Unprimed Features Hornady Unprimed Brass is manufactured with extra time and care taken during production resulting in smaller lots that meet strict quality standards for the reloader. Each case offers excellent uniformity in wall thickness weight and internal capacity qualities that matter directly to how consistently a handload performs. Hornady measures for tight wall concentricity and runs every case through a pressure calibration test to confirm uniform case expansion when fired. This level of control is what separates component brass built for serious reloading from mass-produced cases. Because the brass seats the bullet properly both in the case and in the chamber reloaders see more consistent charges and pressures from one round to the next. That consistency translates directly into optimal velocity and repeatable accuracy on target the two things a precision .22 ARC reloader is chasing. This brass ships new and unprimed so primers powder and bullets must be supplied separately to complete a loaded round. For handloaders building .22 ARC ammunition from the ground up Hornady Unprimed Brass is available for sale at GrabAGun.
