Galco DAO OWB Belt Holster Features The Galco DAO short for Double Action Outdoorsman is built to carry comfortably either strongside or crossdraw giving the wearer flexibility to choose the position that works best for their body type and activity. A retention strap holds the revolver securely in place during hikes climbs and rough terrain while its large polymer tab makes releasing the strap fast even with a gloved hand in cold weather. Tension screw adjustments let the wearer dial in a custom fit specifically for their Smith and Wesson L Frame M686 with a 6 inch barrel ensuring the revolver sits snugly without excessive wobble. This combination of retention and adjustability suits the demands of outdoor carry far better than a generic one-size holster. Constructed from premium steerhide the DAO holster offers the durability and break-in comfort leather carry holsters are known for standing up to repeated use in the field. The Havana Brown finish gives it a classic traditional look that pairs naturally with hunting and outdoor attire. Built to fit belts up to 1.75 inches wide it accommodates heavier-duty gun belts commonly used for carrying a full-size revolver. The Galco DAO is a purpose-built holster for shooters who carry a Smith and Wesson L Frame revolver in demanding outdoor environments.
