Cimarron Firearms Whitneyville Dragoon Features The Cimarron Whitneyville Dragoon reproduces the classic six-shooter design with a 7.5 inch barrel that is partly octagon and partly round finished in a rich blue that highlights the revolver s traditional lines. The frame hammer and loading lever are color case hardened giving the revolver a striking contrast against the blued barrel and cylinder. A fixed sight setup keeps the design faithful to the original pattern this revolver is based on. The steel frame provides the strength needed to handle the demands of black powder shooting. An oiled walnut grip with a flared bottom gives the shooter a secure traditional hold while the square back brass trigger guard and backstrap add both period correctness and durability. The cylinder and trigger are richly blued and roll engraved with the Walker-pattern Ranger and Indian scene a detail that connects this revolver to its historical roots. As a black powder only revolver the Whitneyville Dragoon is built specifically for cap and ball shooting rather than modern cartridges. This combination of authentic styling and rugged steel construction makes the Whitneyville Dragoon a standout piece for black powder enthusiasts and collectors.
