Cimarron Firearms Walker Civilian Features The Cimarron Firearms Walker Civilian reproduces the massive proportions of the original 1847 Walker Colt a revolver that remains one of the largest and most powerful percussion handguns ever issued. The 9 round barrel and 6-round cylinder capacity give the shooter substantial black powder capacity per load characteristic of the original design s intended role as a mounted cavalry sidearm. Fixed sights keep the shooting experience simple and authentic to the period without modern adjustable components that would look out of place on a historical reproduction. The single-action mechanism requires manual cocking for each shot exactly as the original nineteenth-century design intended. A blued steel frame carries an original-style metal finish giving the revolver the deep traditional luster collectors expect from a faithful reproduction rather than a modern matte coating. Genuine walnut grips complete the period-correct appearance while providing a secure traditional hold during firing. Cimarron Firearms built its reputation on historically accurate reproductions of iconic Old West and Civil War era firearms and the Walker Civilian continues that tradition. For collectors and black powder shooters who want an authentic shootable piece of history the Walker Civilian is available for sale at GrabAGun.
