CCI Ammunition Pest Control Shotshell Features The CCI Pest Control shotshell uses a rigid plastic shot capsule engineered to break apart as it travels down the rifled bore of a 10mm Auto pistol releasing the number 9 shot payload in a pattern suited for close range pest elimination. A flexible base wad seals the capsule against the chamber during firing preventing gas blow-by that could otherwise reduce velocity and pattern consistency. This design lets a standard 10mm pistol function as an effective tool against snakes rodents and other small pests encountered around a home barn or campsite. CCI s reputation for dependable ammunition carries through this specialty load built specifically to perform in handguns rather than shotguns. Reliable CCI primers ensure consistent ignition across every round an important factor when a shotshell load needs to perform the instant it is needed in a pest encounter. The aluminum casing keeps overall round weight down while still withstanding the pressures generated at the 1250 feet per second velocity this load produces. Packaged in a reusable box of 10 rounds the CCI Pest Control makes it easy to keep a dedicated supply on hand for truck barn or home use without needing a full case. Shooters who want a purpose built close range pest solution for their 10mm pistol will find this load a practical effective option.
