Berger Bullets Target Features The Berger Bullets Target load pairs the .223 Rem cartridge with a 69 grain open tip match bullet a bullet style favored by competitive shooters for its consistent ballistic coefficient and accuracy potential. Muzzle velocity is rated at 2980 feet per second generating 1361 foot pounds of energy at the muzzle for reliable terminal performance downrange. The reloadable brass case construction gives handloaders the option to reclaim spent cases for future reloading projects. Manufactured in the USA this ammunition reflects Berger s focus on precision oriented match grade projectiles. The AR-15 has become the dominant platform in competitive target shooting and hunting and this load is built to complement that platform s magazine fed operation. Berger also notes that this ammunition performs well in newer clone bolt action chassis configurations broadening its appeal beyond semi automatic rifles alone. Consistent bullet weight and construction from round to round help shooters build confidence in their zero and their ability to call shots at distance. For AR-15 and precision bolt action shooters looking for a dependable accurate .223 Rem load this Berger Target ammunition is available for sale at GrabAGun.
