Battle Arms Development WORKHORSE Complete Upper Features The Battle Arms Development WORKHORSE upper is built around a forged 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum receiver which means the upper withstands the stresses of hard use while keeping weight manageable for a 16 inch barreled rifle. The 4150 chrome-moly steel barrel receives a black nitride treatment for improved wear resistance and corrosion protection extending service life under heavy round counts. Each barrel is individually head-spaced to its matching 9310 steel bolt and 8620 black nitride carrier a pairing designed to maximize reliability while easing cleaning and maintenance after range sessions. A full-length Picatinny rail runs along the top of the receiver with a signature notch cut that matches the upper giving shooters a consistent flat mounting surface for optics. The free-float M-LOK handguard includes attachment points at the 3 6 and 9 o clock positions giving shooters flexibility to mount lights grips or bipods exactly where needed without disturbing barrel harmonics. Because the handguard floats free of the barrel accuracy benefits from a mounting surface that does not transmit pressure into the barrel itself. Every WORKHORSE upper ships complete with a Bad Rack-15 C ambidextrous charging handle giving left and right-handed shooters equally fast and comfortable manipulation. A full AR15/M16 bolt carrier group is included as well meaning the upper is ready to drop onto a compatible lower and run immediately all finished in a durable Black anodized coating available for sale at GrabAGun.
