Battle Arms Development Authority Elite Complete Upper Features The Battle Arms Development Authority Elite upper is built on a billet BAD556 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum receiver giving shooters integral ambidextrous controls machined directly into the receiver rather than added as separate parts. The free-float M-LOK handguard carries attachment points at the 3 6 and 9 o clock positions allowing lights grips and other accessories to be mounted exactly where the shooter wants them. At 12 o clock a full-length Picatinny accessory rail runs the length of the handguard with a signature notch cut matching the upper receiver giving a continuous sight plane for optics. This combination of receiver and handguard design is meant to give shooters a rigid precisely configurable platform for a 5.56 NATO build. Driving the Authority Elite s performance is a 16 inch 4150 chrome-moly steel barrel finished in black nitride for corrosion resistance and long service life.
