Barnes Bullets Harvest Features The Barnes Harvest Collection pairs Barnes reputation for terminal performance with Sierra s Tipped GameKing bullet a 90 grain projectile re-engineered from Sierra s legendary MatchKing into a hollow point design fitted with a transparent green tip for consistent ballistic performance. At 3200 feet per second and 2047 foot pounds of muzzle energy this .243 Win load offers flat trajectory and sufficient energy transfer for clean ethical harvests on thin skinned game like whitetail deer. The bullet s unique construction uses a special lead alloy core surrounded by a tough copper jacket engineered to deliver excellent penetration alongside reliable expansion across a range of practical hunting distances. That combination of accuracy and terminal performance reflects the design goal behind the entire Harvest Collection lineup. Each round is loaded in new production brass cases that are boxer primed and fully reloadable giving handloaders the option to recover and reload spent cases after a day in the field. The ammunition is non-corrosive so it can be stored and fired without the extra cleaning diligence older corrosive loads demand. Packaged twenty rounds to a box this load gives hunters enough ammunition to sight in a rifle and still head to the field with a full magazine. For whitetail hunters who want Barnes level terminal performance paired with Sierra s trusted accuracy the Harvest Collection is a dependable choice.
