Barnes Bullets Harvest Collection Features The Barnes Harvest Collection was developed to compete directly in the whitetail and thin-skinned game market giving hunters who aspire to shoot Barnes a more accessible price point without sacrificing performance. The Sierra Tipped GameKing bullet used in this load was re-engineered from Sierra s legendary MatchKing design into a hollow point configuration for quick reliable expansion on impact. A transparent green tip improves ballistic uniformity in flight helping the 140 grain .270 Win load maintain consistent trajectories across varying distances. Inside a special lead alloy core surrounded by a tough copper jacket is engineered to deliver excellent penetration alongside controlled expansion. At 2960 fps and 2724 foot pounds of muzzle energy this load carries plenty of authority for deer-sized game at typical hunting ranges. New production brass cases are boxer primed and fully reloadable giving budget-conscious handloaders an opportunity to recoup some cost after the first firing. Barnes reputation was built on the X Bullet launched in 1989 and that history of bullet innovation carries through to this Harvest Collection load s combination of Sierra accuracy and Barnes terminal design. This .270 Win 140 grain Barnes Harvest Collection ammunition packed 20 rounds to the box is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters who want proven performance on game.
