Barnes Bullets Suppressor Series Features Barnes Suppressor Series 8.6 Blackout ammunition is loaded with a 300 grain Sierra MatchKing hollow point boat tail bullet pairing one of the most trusted subsonic projectiles on the market with Barnes own exacting manufacturing standards. The Sierra MatchKing bullet is known for its consistent accuracy and reliable expansion characteristics at subsonic velocities making it a proven choice for suppressed shooting applications. Barnes engineers this load specifically around a velocity of roughly 1025 feet per second keeping the round well below the sound barrier for genuinely quiet suppressed performance. Brass cased and reloadable this ammunition gives handloaders the option to recover components for future reloading projects. Clean-burning propellants selected for this load minimize gas blowback into the action improving cycling reliability in gas-operated semi-auto platforms running a suppressor. Consistent velocities with low shot-to-shot variation translate directly into tighter groups and more predictable point of impact at the ranges typical of subsonic shooting. Whether run through a compact suppressed platform or a full-length rifle configuration this load is engineered to deliver dependable function across a range of barrel lengths. Shooters building a dedicated suppressed 8.6 Blackout setup will find this Barnes load a strong match for consistent quiet performance.
