The Porsche 7 Series ski uses a race-inspired Worldcup sandwich build, so it holds an edge at speed the way a serious on-piste carver should. We pair it with the JOY 9 GW SLR binding, whose DIN range tops out at 9 for an easier, more forgiving release while a rider grows into the ski's full performance ceiling. The result is a setup that keeps pace with an advancing skier without asking for a race-binding DIN before they're ready for one. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've pushed this ski hard into a fast groomed carve and had the binding release clean before my knee ever felt the twist. That kind of margin is what lets me trust a race-tuned ski before I've fully caught up to it."
