The Head KORE X 80 Ski pairs an 80mm waist with enough torsional stiffness to carve clean, round turns on groomers, while still leaving room for occasional off-trail runs. A composite wood core reinforced with a graphene laminate keeps the ski light and maneuverable without sacrificing the edge grip that gives it a higher-end feel. Tip rocker and a touch of tail rocker smear easily through softer snow, while camber underfoot locks the ski onto an edge the moment the terrain firms up. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I leaned into a groomer at speed expecting the ski to feel harsh, and instead it held the edge clean through the whole arc without punishing me for not being perfectly balanced. That's the give I needed while I was still learning to load the ski properly through a full turn."
