The Shape V2 ski uses an ERA 3. 0 profile, so a rockered tip and full edge contact keep turns predictable as a skier pushes past the basics. We pair it with the JOY 9 GW SLR binding, whose light heel unit and wide DIN range stay easy to dial in without adding another variable to think about. The setup rewards steady progress instead of demanding it. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I started linking turns on a green run and finished the day carving blues without switching gear. The edge hold stayed the same the whole time, so the only thing that changed was how hard I was willing to push it."
