The Shape V4 ski builds on a Wood Composite Core reinforced with Graphene, so it holds a steadier edge than a lighter, all-synthetic build without losing its easy manners on groomed runs. We pair it with the JOY 9 GW SLR binding, whose light heel unit and wide DIN range keep the setup simple even as the ski asks for a little more from the skier. The result rewards a rider ready to feel more of the snow underfoot. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I noticed the edge hold first, before anything else, on a firmer patch of snow that usually knocks a lighter ski off its line. That kind of steadiness is what let me stop thinking about the ski and just focus on the turn."
