What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I took this setup out on a mellow touring loop with some rolling hills, and the no wax base gripped confidently on every kick without any extra prep beforehand. The wider ski gave me real stability going downhill, so the whole tour stayed relaxed instead of turning into a fight for control."A quiet forest track with a few rolling hills is really all the Atomic Savor XC PG 25 Touring Ski Package w/ Poles asks for. Kick into a stride and feel the grip hold without hesitation, coast down a gentle slope with real security underfoot, and spend the whole outing actually taking in the scenery instead of managing gear. This is touring stripped down to the part that's genuinely enjoyable. That ease comes down to smart, low maintenance design throughout the setup. The Posigrip base delivers a strong, waxless kick across a range of snow conditions, while a wider ski shape adds stability through turns and extra confidence on the downhills. The Savor boots bring a water resistant upper and a roomy 105mm last for natural toe spread and all day comfort, and the Savor QRS poles round things out with a lightweight aluminum shaft and a quick release strap that detaches with the push of a button, ready for whenever the trail calls for a break.
