What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I raced the Pro Skate Gen S Hard Ski on a firm course after a cold snap, and the harder flex gave back real snap on every committed push. It took more power to load than my old medium flex ski, but once I found that rhythm, the double grooved base tracked straight through fast, aggressive strides. This is the build I want under me when the snow is firm and I'm racing for time."The course is fast and firm today, and the Pro Skate Gen S Hard Ski from Atomic wants you to drive into it rather than ease along. Commit fully to each stride, feel the ski load up under a strong push, and let that stored energy snap you forward into the next glide with real speed. That responsiveness comes from a harder flex tuned for stronger, more aggressive skiers. It demands a more committed kick than a softer ski, but rewards that effort with sharper acceleration and a more direct connection to firm snow. Paired with a wider tip and tail for stability and a double grooved base for steady steering, this hard flex is built for skaters who already have the technique and power to make the most of it.
